REFLECTION
Experience: This module gave me a great experience through learning about culture we had to research in depth about. My group picked a culture that I was invested in so learning and researching more about it gave me great knowledge about the Pua Kumbu. My group and I went to go to a textile museum to observe more on the chosen topic, and it was a fun way to get the group together to go explore more on the history of the Iban culture. Though there isn't much Sarawakian textiles in KL, we still managed to get the information for our data collection.
Observation: The learning process throughout this module was mostly on ourselves, by researching on the culture we picked which is the Iban Pua Kumbu and it has to be based on everyday design, so we went to museums to do our observation study and conducted a survey to see what other students thought abou the Pua Kumbu.
Findings: There was a lot of information gathered throughout this module. I learnt a lot more about the Pua Kumbu and it origin heritage. It was good to know more about the Iban culture and its history on how it evolved to become many things for products, and I hope this assignment has taught many other more people about the Iban culture as it is only known in Sarawak. There are many more ethnics in Sarawak that needs to be shared more because it is underrated and spread more knowledge on it.
