Final Project: Animated infographic videoINSTRUCTIONS
PROCESS
As a group, we started with a few ideas on what we want the infographic to be about. So everyone had to think of a few ideas and put it in the google docs. We all collectively made a decision and decided to go for the Matcha idea.
We started off with separating the roles. What I did at first was searching up the benefits of matcha for the body.
We divided the parts in this PowerPoint between the team members. Then began researching more into matcha and our objectives for this final project. This covers all the information on how we plan to proceed with the matcha infographic.

Figure 2. Matcha storyboard
The art direction we're heading for, it's a cartoon-ish illustration. To fit the matcha theme, the color theme is kept to be pastel.
Figure 3. Art Style
During the part we had to start animating the infographics, I was in charge of doing the line art for certain frames from the storyboard. I basically just had to follow the sketch and make it look neater, by following the art style given. The stroke for the outline is 15px and for smaller details it would be 10px.
For the line art, I did frames 30-40.

Then after the line art is done, it is then passed to the coloring team. For the color, I only did frames 30-32 as there were some parts that looked weird during the line art phase.

REFLECTION
Experience: During the first week of information design I wasn't sure on how to start with the assignment as I've never done infographics before. But after a few lessons and learning more about it everyday, I learned new things each day. Making the animated infographic for the final project was a challenge as I haven't touched Adobe Animate for a while, but the process of making it was a great learning process for me. It made it easier to have helpful team members along the way as well.
Observation: By communicating with the team members about how the animation should look actually helped a lot. Critiquing each others work by telling how it should be like. My team members have helped with the process of doing the storyboard.
Findings: To make a good infographic video, you need less words in the video as the audiences won't read much of it. I learnt the basic design principles during the class that I can apply into the video. I also learnt a lot on what infographic videos are about. This may be useful in future assignments like when designing posters I can apply the LATCH method.
