INSTRCUTIONS
LECTURES
Week 1: Introduction to Application Design
For the first week, we were just briefed on what Application Design is and know how the module is going to look like throughout. We went through the slides about how important application design is. Then we were assigned to create a draft proposal for 3 apps and analyse it.

Week 2: The Art of User-Centered Design
This weeks lecture was about user-centered design. It is a design philosophy that puts users at the forefront of the entire product development process. Mr. Zeon went into detail about the each slides. For week 2 we were told to only focus on one app from our proposal. Then apply the things that were in the lecture slides onto the presentation.

Week 3: Usability
This weeks lecture is on the usability. The slides can help us implement it onto our work for the assigned task. For this week we were told that the final proposal is to be presented.

Week 4: Presentation
This week was mainly focused on our final proposal presentation. We weren't supposed to take more than 8 minutes when presenting.
PROJECT 1
We were tasked to create a documentation proposal.

FEEDBACK
Week 2:
General Feedback: To make sure to analyse the screenshots shown.
Specific Feedback: To analyse the ratings and review slide and then apps I picked were very common like the TGV app. To also specify who the target audience is.
Week 3:
General Feedback: Find for decent reference and site them on the proposal.
Specific Feedback: To specify the target audience like what makes it different from other health and beauty apps like wastons. Analyse the screenshots and its better if there are more screenshots of different apps.
Week 4:
General Feedback: The presentation took too long should not exceed 8 mins.
Specific Feedback: Organize some of the slides cause its in the wrong order. Make some of the text bold to see the difference.
REFLECTION
Experience: I had a hard time finding for the 3 apps, but through good search i decided to go for Guardian, TGV and ktmb. Though in mytimes we were not told to do big known companies, i accidently did TGV. I analysed these three mobile applications to identify the design flaws in the and suggest improvements based on what i think. The process involved exploreing each app's user interface, navigation flow, visual hierarchy, and overall the user experience. This assignment has helped me understand the importance of user-centered design.
Findings: I've come to realized how much goes into designing an application app, like small details do a lot for an app. I've learnt a lot throughout my research for the apps. From now on, I can differentiate between good and bad UI/UX, this will help me for future assignments as well.
